As a Manager Direct Tax, your role will involve leading your team independently and building client relationships. You will be responsible for business development activities and developing your team. Your willingness and aspiration to lead the direct tax practice independently in the future is crucial. Additionally, you should be open to collaborating with other team members of the firm. Key Responsibilities: - Lead your team independently - Build and nurture client relationships - Engage in business development activities for the firm - Demonstrate willingness and aspiration to lead the direct tax practice autonomously in the future - Collaborate effectively with other team members Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant qualification - Knowledge of Direct Tax Compliance, Assessment proceedings, and Advisory - 1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant field - Experience in drafting income tax assessment and appeal matters for large corporates and MNCs in India - Expertise in direct tax research and advisory work, with an added advantage of international tax knowledge - Proficiency in filing income tax compliances for both domestic and international transactions - Ability to build and maintain client relationships beyond tax services - Good communication skills, both written and verbal - Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills Please note that past experience working in Big4 firms is not mandatory, but a background in similar large firms in India is preferred.
