Job Description

As a Tax Advisor at our company, you will be responsible for providing direct tax advisory on complex issues including merger, demerger, spin-offs, and business transfers. Your key responsibilities will involve the preparation and review of transaction documentation, conducting tax due diligence, and offering international tax advisory with a focus on BEPS, MLI, GAAR, DTAA, domestic tax laws, and FEMA/regulatory issues. You will also assist in direct tax litigation by drafting submissions and briefing senior counsels. Additionally, your role will require you to carry out research on various income-tax issues and prepare deliverables such as slide-decks, opinions, notes, and memos. Qualifications: - 4-6 years of experience in a similar role - Qualified CA In this position, it is essential to demonstrate learning agility by staying updated with the latest trends in the legal industry. You should prioritize meeting clients" expectations by delivering high-quality work in a timely manner. Collaborating effectively with team members, following work processes diligently, and planning your work efficiently are also key aspects of this role. Strong drafting and presentation skills will be crucial for creating client presentations using various communication methods.,
