Direct Purchase

You will be responsible for end-to-end sourcing and procurement of raw materials including oils, excipients, processing aids, and plant extracts to ensure timely availability for uninterrupted production. Your role is crucial in maintaining supply reliability, optimizing costs, and aligning with production schedules and business objectives. Your key accountabilities will include sourcing raw materials from approved and reliable suppliers, onboarding new suppliers for cost benefits and supply continuity, and leading commercial negotiations to achieve cost-saving targets while maintaining quality and service levels. You will collaborate with finance and planning teams to prepare the annual material budget and develop monthly and annual procurement plans aligned with production forecasts. It will be essential for you to closely collaborate with PPIC, production, and sales teams to align material planning with demand forecasts, coordinate with the R&D team for new product development, and work with the logistics team for timely follow-up on material shipments. You will also monitor supplier performance metrics, ensure service level adherence, and escalate concerns when necessary. Regularly tracking market price changes and updating the Lead Direct Purchase with timely information will also be part of your responsibilities. Managing procurement documentation and bills, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and audit readiness, as well as updating procurement systems with relevant documentation and sharing updates with internal stakeholders will also be crucial. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Education: MBA with specialization in Supply Chain Management preferred. Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience. Skills & Competencies: Negotiation skills, delivering consistent results, supplier management, and vendor management.,
