Responsibilities

• Development of Piping Basic and Detail engineering according to process requirement
• Development of piping engineering for Water treatment Plant (WTP), Melt shop (EAF/LF/VD), Continuous Casting Machine (CCM), Rolling Mill (long & flat products), Processing lines.
• Experience to work with different design groups (process, civil, mechanical, automation & electrical), PUD and suppliers, PM, Sale, Erection & Commissioning, Customer, Consultant in India and abroad.

Technical Requirements

• BE/B-TECH in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 yr. in same job profile, previous proven experience in steel plant is a plus.
• Capability to develop piping design according to TS/GTS and Tender.
• Capability to develop PIPING BASIC DESIGN: Piping system material, PFD/P&ID, Hydraulic Flow sheet, Piping scope Layout, Equipment layout.
• Capability to develop PIPING DETAIL DESIGN: Piping arrangement drawing, Support drawing, ISO drawing in 3D (E3D or PDMS) and prepare the MTO/BOQ.
• Good knowledge on international standard/IS for piping.
• Good knowledge of automatic valves, instruments and hookup and understanding of automation concepts applied to piping system (interlocks, control loops, etc.)
• Good experience and understanding in piping installation and constructability.

Soft Skills

• Fluent in Microsoft Office, familiar with use of office database and PLM platform or similar.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, AVEVA E3D/PDMS/ Naviswork.
• Knowledge on stress analysis software will be considered a plus.
