Responsibilities

• Steel plant instruments and automatic valves based on process requirements.
• Work as part of the piping & instrumentation design team, coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders (design groups, suppliers, PM, sales, commissioning teams, customers, consultants).
• Develop and estimate designs according to technical specifications and tenders.
• Prepare BOQ for instruments, valves, and hookup materials.
• Support installation and commissioning of instruments and valves.

Technical Requirements

• Education: BE/B-Tech/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical & Automation, or Control Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in similar role; steel plant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in PFD/P&ID, instrument tagging, valve sizing, and control loop design.
• Knowledge of standards (IEC, ISA, NEMA, UL/FM), directives (ATEX, PED), and safety concepts.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, HART).
• Software skills: MS Office, MS Access, AutoCAD 2D, Navisworks; AVEVA E3D/PDMS is a plus; valve sizing tools (EMERSON, Conval).
• Understanding of electrical tracing systems and automation functional specifications.
