Digital Forensic Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking qualified Digital Forensic Specialists to support investigations for Government and Central/State Enforcement Agencies. The role involves handling digital evidence, conducting forensic analysis, and supporting investigation wings such as GST, Police, and other law enforcement bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct digital forensic investigations related to cybercrime and financial crime cases.
• Handle and analyze digital evidence for cases associated with GST Investigation Wing and other Central/State Enforcement Agencies.
• Perform forensic analysis on computers, mobile devices, storage media, and digital artifacts.
• Ensure proper evidence handling, documentation, and reporting as per legal and procedural standards.
• Support investigation teams with technical insights and expert forensic reports.
• Stay updated with the latest forensic tools, techniques, and compliance requirements.

Mandatory Skills & Tools:

Hands-on experience with updated/latest versions of digital forensic tools including:

• Oxygen Forensics
• EnCase
• Cellebrite
• X-Ways Forensics
• Phone Rescue or similar mobile forensic tools

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
• Certified Digital Forensic professional preferred (e.g., EnCE, CHFI, GCFE, etc.).

Additional Requirements:

• Experience working with or supporting Government, Law Enforcement, or Regulatory Agencies is highly preferred.
• Ability to work on sensitive cases with strict confidentiality.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Availability of multiple qualified digital forensic specialists within the organization (as applicable for bidding/contract requirements).
