Digital and Social Media Manager

The Assistant Editor - Digital & Social Media at Champak Magazine will play a crucial role in curating, creating, and managing engaging online content for the magazine's website and social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing content that caters to children aged 5-12 years, including stories, quizzes, educational articles, and interactive activities. Additionally, you will collaborate with designers and multimedia creators to enhance online stories with visuals and interactive elements. Key responsibilities include planning and executing digital content strategies, managing web publishing through CMS platforms, monitoring audience engagement metrics, and staying updated on digital trends in children's content. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in English, Journalism, or related fields, along with 3-5 years of experience in digital content creation or editorial roles. Proficiency in content writing, CMS platforms, SEO, and basic web publishing tools is essential. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker with a passion for children's media and education, demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
