Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of trucks
Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing as per OEM standards
Inspect engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, and axles
Troubleshoot electrical wiring, batteries, alternators, and starter motors
Carry out clutch, gearbox, differential, and engine overhaul work
Attend breakdown calls and ensure timely vehicle turnaround
Use diagnostic tools and service equipment effectively
Maintain service records, job cards, and spare parts usage
Ensure safety, housekeeping, and quality standards in the workshop
Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Supervisors

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
diesel engines and commercial vehicle systems
Hands-on experience with
HCV repairs
Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
Familiar with diagnostic scanners and workshop tools
Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
