DGM - Technical Certification-EV

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

Be part of the Finance and Accounting team working on qualifying EV products to receive PLI incentives.

Scope of responsibilities include the following-

1) PLI Qualification - First time and Ongoing

• For each upcoming EVs, work with the CFT to ensure %DVA will qualify to receive PLI incentives


• Prepare and submit the PLI application to Testing agency (ARAI or others)


• Liaise with testing agency to process the application and receiving DVA certification for the product


• Support technical audit by the testing agency


• Ensure certification validity throughout the year through quarterly monitoring and reporting of DVA


• Ensure timely recertification of certified products to ensure continuity in getting the PLI incentives

2) Ongoing DVA tracking and reporting

• For each of the DVA certified EV models, track and report %DVA change


• Work with CFT to identify root cause for DVA change and communicate to testing agency

3) Drive Localization to improve %DVA

• For all EV models in scope, drive CFT to improve localization through various levers

Competencies:

• Proficient in excel - able to manage large worksheet with multiple columns of data


• Proficient in SAP system - material management - and custom reports to run


• Excellent understanding of Manufacturing Bill of Materials and Engineering Bill of Materials


• Excellent understanding of automotive supply chain

General Requirements:

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Bill of Materials and Process Flow


• Knowledge and Understanding of Fixed Asset Registers, GSTR 2B reports, GSTR 3B reports, GRN data etc.


• Structured and Organized person - ability to analyse Bill of Materials for Cost Roll ups and Cross referencing to other data points


• Attention to details - Thorough and detail oriented to track changes of part numbers and/or costs on a regular basis and keep documents ready for audit trail
