Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy General Manager (DGM) in Spinning at Vikram Woollens, based in Madhya Pradesh, India. The selected candidate will oversee daily operations of the spinning division, including production planning, quality control, and team management. They will be responsible for optimizing production processes, minimizing downtime, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Additionally, the candidate will monitor and manage team performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement best practices to enhance productivity. Collaboration with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless operations will also be a key responsibility.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in spinning operations, including process optimization and quality control
• Effective leadership, team management, customer grievance handling and communication skills
• Proficiency in production planning and troubleshooting production-related issues
• Understanding of sustainability initiatives and their integration into textile manufacturing
• Proven ability to work in an on-site, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
• Experience in the textiles industry and familiarity with industry standards and regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Diploma or a related field
