DGM - Internal Audit

You will play a crucial role in planning, initiating, and managing audits to ensure internal control systems related to compliance and governance are effectively maintained. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding process changes across systems/operations and identifying areas of risks/exposure. - Designing an overall system of audit controls and checks to ensure internal controls and compliance are maintained across plants and corporate functions. - Developing an annual audit plan that incorporates areas of possible risks/exposure, presenting it to the audit committee for feedback and approval, and implementing the plan. - Providing a comprehensive scope for each audit assignment and reviewing detailed audit plans prepared by the audit supervisor. - Planning, executing, and monitoring audit assignments in alignment with the annual audit plan. - Directing teams to collect and analyze data to identify deviations/non-compliances to set standards and compliances. - Seeking inputs from stakeholders on audit observations and recommending action points/procedures to address risks. - Reporting on identified issues and agreed-upon redressal plans with stakeholders. - Monitoring the timely implementation and adherence to controls in systems and processes across plants/functions. - Establishing processes for preventive and punitive vigilance and guiding the team in conducting these activities. - Investigating events necessitating further examination and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. - Safeguarding the organization's business by identifying internal leakages and non-adherences to policies/processes. - Submitting and presenting internal audit reports to top management and the Audit Committee. - Coaching, guiding, and training the team to enhance their capabilities and effectiveness. Additionally, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - Qualified CA with 15-20 years of internal audit experience, preferably in automotive, manufacturing, industrial machinery, or chemical sectors.,
