Overall production targets of the plant in close coordination with

Operations, Production Team, Maintenance Team and Quality Team.

• To innovate, study and analyze production process parameters, create benchmarks and

improvements. Institutionalizing of Good Manufacturing Practices across the unit.

• To ensure Productivity, consisting of Block Mills.

• ensure wire rod Production, Quality and Dispatch on the dotted lines of Customer Expectation.

• design, develop and implement new processes and System for Change Management.

Principal Accountability:

• Accountable for Strict daily production plan compliance of key functions like Pulpit operation,

garage operation, Furnace Operation, etc.

• Would plan and Review with the Planning Department, the Raw Material; Materials

Management, Planning and availability of Resources.

• Would achieve daily Production Targets, in consonance with the Quality Department and

ensure Process Compliances.

• Would facilitate Customer Visits Backward integration of Production Plan with the Dispatch

Plan on M-O-M basis.

• achieve annual production Targets with Quality Parameters.

• develop working relationship with all Functional Heads; Production, Maintenance,

Quality and HR.

. Adopting measures to increase production, viz. Pass Configuration and Guiding System

Modification.

. Conducting ISO and QS Audits; evaluating internal control systems/ procedures with a view

to highlight the shortcomings & implementing necessary recommendations.

. Controlling Fuel & Power Consumption.

. Furnace Operation.

. Designing & implementing systems, procedures & manuals for the preparation &

maintenance of Furnace.

. Ensuring optimum utilization of Furnace by modifying Air Fuel Ratio and Heating

Schedule.

Fixing the Loading Capacity of Furnace for optimum utilization of Furnace.

. Temperature Profile & heating time fixing with respect to different grades of Product.
