Job Description

1.

Develop and oversee financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to the management team.
Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

2.

Ensure timely preparation and presentation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Monitor and improve accounting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

3.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings, audits, and other financial regulations.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.

4.

Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for operations.
Manage banking relationships and oversee loan/credit negotiations.

5.

Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team to achieve department goals.
Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for team development.

6.

Support management in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights.
Evaluate investment opportunities and assess financial feasibility.
Contribute to the development of long-term organizational strategies.
