DG Testing Engineer Bangalore

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, related field.
• Good understanding of generator / engine / alternator systems, power generation principles (AC/DC systems, three-phase power, control panels, wiring, safety systems).
• Experience (or at least familiarity) with testing procedures for DG sets / engines / electrical equipment — e.g. load bank testing, voltage regulation test, safety checks, control panel test, mechanical integrity.
• Proficiency with test instruments and measuring tools (multimeter, oscilloscopes, load testers, data loggers, gauges, etc.) and ability to maintain / calibrate them.
• Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret test data, identify anomalies or defects, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Attention to detail, methodical work approach, documentation habit, adherence to quality/ safety standards.
• Good communication skills — to coordinate with production, design, QA, and highlight issues, corrective actions, and improvements.
• Understanding of Quality Management concepts — e.g. quality control, inspection, compliance, documentation of non-conformities, corrective & preventive actions. Knowledge of standards (internal or external) is beneficial.
• Ideally, experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferably in genset / heavy-equipment manufacturing / electrical equipment manufacturing).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
