DFX CAD Tools Development Engineer

Role Overview: As an engineer in the CAD team at NVIDIA, you will play a crucial role in developing and supporting tools for semiconductor products. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in the areas of Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Power (DFP) using languages such as C++, Python, and TCL. Your work will contribute to industry-leading chip designs and involve collaborating with a diverse team to tackle challenging projects. Key Responsibilities: - Architect highly automated and customizable design flows using software engineering principles with a focus on modular design and object-oriented techniques. - Collaborate with team members to develop DFT and DFP methodologies for chip designs. - Develop tools using C++, Python, and TCL. - Engage in cross-functional collaboration with DFT Methodology, Implementation, and design teams on important DFT and power tools development tasks. Qualifications Required: - Possess 2+ years of relevant work experience. - Demonstrate intelligence, diligence, and motivation to excel in the CAD team. - Hold a BE or BTech or MTech degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or have equivalent experience. - Knowledge or experience with DFT and DFP is advantageous. - Familiarity with Verilog, VLSI, and ASIC design principles, including understanding of logic cells. - Proficient in software engineering concepts such as software design, algorithms, and QA. - Strong programming skills in C++. - Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Python or TCL is desirable. - Understanding of GenAI, LLM, AI Code Generation is a plus. - Strong interpersonal skills are beneficial for success in this role.
