DFX CAD Tools Development Engineer

Role Overview: As a member of the CAD team at NVIDIA, you will be involved in developing and supporting tools for all semiconductor products. Your responsibilities will also include creating in-house tools for Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Power (DFP) using languages like C++, Python, and TCL. You will collaborate with a diverse team and tackle challenging tasks to contribute to industry-leading chip designs. Key Responsibilities: - Architect highly automated and customizable design flows using software engineering techniques with a focus on modular design and object-oriented programming. - Collaborate with team members to implement DFT and DFP methodologies for chip designs. - Develop tools using C++, Python, and TCL. - Engage in cross-functional collaboration with DFT Methodology, Implementation, and design teams to work on important DFT and power tools development tasks. Qualifications Required: - Possess 2+ years of relevant work experience. - Display intelligence, diligence, and motivation to thrive in the CAD group. - Hold a degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field. - Knowledge or experience in DFT and DFP is a plus. - Familiarity with Verilog, VLSI, and ASIC design principles, including logic cells. - Proficient in software engineering concepts such as software design, algorithms, and quality assurance. - Strong programming skills in C++. - Proficiency in Python or TCL scripting is desired. - Familiarity with GenAI, LLM, and AI Code Generation is advantageous. - Strong interpersonal skills will be beneficial in this role.
