Description
You will be responsible for leading the integrated DevOps, IT Operations, and Information Security functions at the organization. Your role will involve owning the strategy, culture, tooling, and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) to ensure high-quality software delivery and a secure environment across all cloud and corporate assets. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Cloud & Delivery Strategy (DevOps & Platform Leadership)** - Define and execute the multi-year DevOps maturity roadmap and technical strategy aligned with company objectives. - Own the CI/CD ecosystem architecture, security, and performance to ensure automation, reliability, and speed in deployments. - Drive adoption of advanced engineering practices like GitOps, progressive delivery, and chaos engineering. - Maintain cloud platforms and infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistency and repeatability. - **Team Leadership & Cultural Development** - Recruit, lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps Engineers, SREs, and Platform Engineers. - Instill a culture of extreme ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. - Define and track Key Result Areas (KRAs) for high operational efficiency organization-wide. - **Performance, Reliability, and FinOps** - Establish and report on key metrics for data-driven decision-making. - Implement FinOps practices for cloud cost optimization and capacity planning. - Lead incident response process and drive automation solutions for incident prevention. - **Security, Governance, and Compliance** - Integrate security and compliance controls throughout the pipeline. - Implement and maintain crucial compliance frameworks. - Directly manage security efforts across the software delivery platform and workplace IT environment. - **IT Asset & Vendor Management (Internal Operations)** - Manage software licenses, hardware assets, and vendor relationships. - Oversee lifecycle management of company hardware assets. - Act as the primary technical point of contact for vendors and service management. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration** - Partner with cross-functional teams to eliminate process friction and accelerate business delivery. - Evaluate, select, and onboard new tools and vendors for enhancing the platform and internal operations. **Qualifications:** - 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform, IT, Software Engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership role. - Experience in IT Asset Management and Information Security functions. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. **Required Skills:** - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Expertise in DevOps practices and tools. - Experience with cloud platforms, security, and compliance frameworks. - Knowledge of FinOps practices and advanced engineering practices. - Master's degree in a relevant field.,
