DevOps Lead

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a preference for AWS/Azure, which includes tasks such as networking (VPC, VPN, NAT, routing). Your role will involve administering and monitoring Kubernetes clusters like EKS/AKS to ensure high availability and security. You will implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools. Additionally, configuring and managing system observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Node Exporter, and Kafka Exporter will be part of your responsibilities. Integrating security and quality gates into CI/CD workflows, including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and code coverage, will be crucial. You will be expected to ensure robust logging, alerting, and uptime monitoring across different zones and services. Optimizing infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability while enforcing security best practices at the infrastructure and network levels (TLS, firewalls, IAM) will be key priorities. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3-6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, specifically with AWS/Azure. Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, networking, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), is essential. Proficiency in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and operating systems such as Ubuntu/Linux is required. Experience in managing cloud-native components like Kafka, MongoDB, Scylla/Cassandra, and MySQL RDS (8.4) will be advantageous. You should have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and secure container management practices. Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages will be beneficial for this role.
