DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a

DevOps Engineer

with strong foundational skills in automation, CI/CD, Linux, cloud fundamentals, and containerization. The ideal candidate should understand DevOps principles and be able to support development, deployment, and operational activities across environments

Key Responsibilities

Support the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines.
Work with development teams to automate build, deployment, and release processes.
Manage version control systems and implement branching strategies.
Handle basic Linux system administration tasks and shell scripting.
Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Build and manage Docker containers for application deployment.
Monitor application performance using basic monitoring tools.
Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) activities using Terraform or Ansible.
Troubleshoot deployment issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ensure smooth functioning of environments across dev, QA, and production.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of Git and version control workflows.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI).
Good knowledge of Linux fundamentals and shell scripting.
Basic experience with Python scripting (optional, but good to have).
Foundational knowledge of any cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Understanding of Docker and container-based deployments.
Familiarity with basic monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Entry-level experience with Terraform / Ansible or other IaC tools.
Knowledge of networking basics (DNS, load balancers, VPC concepts).
Good understanding of DevOps and Agile principles.
