About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (Release Management) to join our growing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, automating release processes, and coordinating software deployments across multiple environments to ensure smooth and reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end software releases across environments (Development, QA, UAT, and Production).
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
• Automate build, deployment, and release processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Infrastructure teams for seamless release planning and execution.
• Administer and manage version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and enforce branching strategies.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues to ensure quick resolution.
• Maintain release documentation, including schedules, reports, and change logs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps and Release Management.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo).
• Strong understanding of Git branching, tagging, and versioning.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages (Shell, Bash, or Python).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) preferred.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
