Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and optimizing our development and deployment processes, ensuring high availability and performance of our applications, and collaborating with development and operations teams to enhance the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Automation

: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes.

Infrastructure Management

: Manage and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.

Monitoring and Performance

: Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure application performance and reliability. Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Collaboration

: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Configuration Management

: Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate system configurations and deployments.

Cloud Services

: Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services, ensuring scalability and security.

Troubleshooting

: Identify and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.

Documentation

: Maintain clear documentation of processes, systems, and configurations.

Requirements

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert) are a plus.

- Previous experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
