Job Description: Job Title: DevOps Engineer -- Python/java programming Job Type : Contract to hire. Location: Conde Nast Office, 63 St Mark's Rd, Shanthala Nagar, Sampangi Rama Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001 Work Mode: Hybrid – 4 days/week from office Shift Timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST Experience: 7+ years Notice Period :- Immediate joiners. Key Responsibilities: Lead engineering workstreams and collaborate with cross-functional teams Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant systems on AWS Develop and maintain infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD practices Build robust internal tools and platforms using Python and Java (not just scripting) Apply best practices in DevSecOps, architecture design, and code quality Mentor and pair with engineers of varying experience levels Contribute to system design decisions, reviews, and incident response processes Must-Have Skills: Primary Skills: Kubernetes (hands-on experience) Terraform (infrastructure as code expertise) AWS (advanced usage of core services) Python programming (application-level, not just scripting) Secondary Skill: Java programming (must be application-level experience, not scripting) Preferred Experience: Working with Go, NodeJS (a plus) Exposure to CDNs, secure coding, and CI/CD pipelines Strong grasp of modern software architecture Demonstrated experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles at scale Familiarity with security and reliability best practices Show more Show less
