Job Description

Role & responsibilities • Assist in the configuration and management of cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Help with the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications. Work with Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure resources. Automate tasks using Ansible for system configurations and updates. Support and maintain Linux-based systems and environments. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment-related issues. Participate in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for smooth application deployments. Monitor system performance and help ensure uptime and availability of services. Assist with infrastructure security by following best practices and collaborating with senior team members. Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with DevOps tools and cloud technologies. Competencies and Abilities Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Basic experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, or Kubernetes Engine. Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Basic knowledge of Linux systems administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar). Exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI. Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
