Devops Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS and database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing our cloud infrastructure, automating workflows, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our databases. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments. Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and availability of AWS resources and databases. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and services. Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. Manage database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB. Automate routine database tasks such as backups, restores, and monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and database-related issues. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in cloud environments. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and database management. Experience with Azure, GCP is a plus. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a strong focus on AWS and database management. Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a must. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Circle CI. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Expertise in managing and optimizing relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB). Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices.
