Devops Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in DevOps practices, with a strong focus on automation, system reliability, and collaboration with development teams. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our deployment processes and ensuring that our infrastructure is robust and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of system design and implementation.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and optimize for cost and performance.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-14 years of experience in DevOps or related field.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards system improvements.
