Job Description

So, what s the role all about?

The DevOps Engineer works as an integrated part of a software engineering team with specific focus on facilitating and building automated pipelines for continuous delivery of the teams deliverables with guaranteed production-level quality and supportability.

How will you make an impact?

Perform and manage application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, SRE, and Operations to ensure smooth deployment cycles.
Troubleshoot deployment issues, identify root causes, and drive quick resolutions.
Configure, maintain, and administer
Windows servers
,
IIS
, and related deployment components.
Work with
Gi b
for version control, repository management, and deployment workflows.
Create and maintain automation scripts using
Python
and
PowerShell
to improve deployment efficiency.
Ensure adherence to deployment standards, documentation, and release management processes.
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying automation opportunities and deployment optimizations.
Maintain configuration documentation and deployment guidelines.

Have you got what it takes?

Proven experience in
application deployments
in enterprise or large-scale environments.
Strong understanding of
Windows OS
administration and
IIS configuration
.
Hands-on experience with
Gi b
, branching strategies, CI/CD workflows, and release processes.
Experience in AWS, Jenkins will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in
scripting languages
, preferably
Python
and
PowerShell
.
Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues across different application tiers.
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in fast-paced, time-sensitive deployment environments.
