DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of experience, your key responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining automation tools for cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will be developing and maintaining continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc. Your role will involve managing cloud resources and services to ensure scalability, security, and high availability. In this position, you will implement monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to track performance, uptime, and system health. Collaboration with software developers is crucial to streamline development processes and align infrastructure requirements. Using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet will be essential for automating environment provisioning. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining Git repositories to enable seamless code collaboration and integration. Security is a top priority, and you will ensure that infrastructure and applications meet high-security standards and best practices. In case of production issues, your role will involve responding to and troubleshooting incidents to minimize downtime with rapid issue identification and resolution. Your skills and qualifications should include experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python, and knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with version control using Git, monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is also required. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
