Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role involves close collaboration with development teams to ensure smooth integration, scalable deployment, and high system reliability across all environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain servers, containers, and cloud-based services.
• Manage source control and branching strategies using Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
• Monitor system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Ensure infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Automate operational processes with Bash, Python, or Ansible scripts.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance software delivery efficiency.
• Implement security best practices, backup strategies, and failover mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot system and deployment issues efficiently with a strong understanding of logs and metrics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related eld.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in a DevOps or System Engineer role.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix-based systems and shell scripting.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Strong understanding of Docker and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes preferred).
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.
• Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, and security groups.
• Experience in using monitoring tools and log management systems.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with microservices deployment and serverless architectures.
• Understanding of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Awareness of cost optimization and scalability practices in cloud environments.

Experience Level

1–2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related system administration role.

Languages

Tamil and English (written and verbal proficiency required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
