DevOps Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Migration Strategy & Execution:

  Lead end-to-end migration of repositories, pipelines, boards, and artifacts from ADO to GitHub Enterprise.

• DevOps Architecture:

  Define and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and automation frameworks using GitHub Actions.

• Toolchain Integration:

  Integrate GitHub with enterprise tools (Jira, ServiceNow, SonarQube, Artifactory, Kubernetes, etc.).

• Governance & Security:

  Implement security, compliance, and governance frameworks across GitHub repositories and workflows.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  Work with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure smooth adoption of GitHub Enterprise.

• Performance Optimization:

  Optimize CI/CD pipelines for speed, reliability, and scalability.

• Knowledge Transfer & Training:

  Conduct workshops and training sessions for developers and DevOps teams on GitHub adoption.

• Best Practices & Innovation:

  Evaluate emerging DevOps tools/technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in

  DevOps practices, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)

  , and infrastructure automation (Terraform/Ansible)
• Proven

  hands-on experience with ADO to GitHub migration

  in large enterprises.
• Expertise in

  GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipeline design, Git workflows, and branching strategies

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  containers & orchestration

  (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Familiarity with

  security & compliance

  practices for DevOps (Secrets Management, SAST/DAST, SBOM).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• GitHub Certified Actions/Administration or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with

  multi-project migration (100+ repositories/pipelines).
