Job Description

Responsibilities and Impact:

We are seeking a bright, self-motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team.
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for hands-on build-out, configuration, deploy, scale, orchestration and monitoring in supporting infrastructure and our release pipeline for global commercial software platforms.
Candidate must be comfortable in driving Continuous Integration / Deployment initiatives in the cloud.
An ideal candidate would have process automation skills in the financial services sector.
You will be responsible for automating and optimizing our development and deployment processes, integrating AI solutions, and ensuring the reliability of our applications.
Build Cloud Infrastructure as code in Terraform or CloudFormation.
Build Cloud Native automation to monitor health, quality, and compliance of product in Cloud.
Build CI/CD enabled pipelines for the deployment of automation work products. Collaborate with product teams and make recommendations for better cloud alignment.
Help in identifying and documenting application and infrastructure enhancements to improve overall performance and client experiences.
Respond to operational incidents and address/correct issues found to restore services. Document root cause analysis of issues identified and participate in process improvements to prevent additional issues.
What Were Looking For:Basic Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps or similar role.
- Expert in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Expert knowledge of AWS Services
- Experienced in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.
- Experienced in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
- General understanding of source control and git.
- Strong knowledge of tools for containerization and image management.
- Experience with tools for orchestration and management of containerized applications.
- Familiarity with container registries (e.g. Amazon ECR).
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Tools and automation-based monitoring of production environments to provide proactive alerts on system health and reliability.
- Troubleshooting and resolving root cause issues in our dev, test and production internal and cloud environments.
- Take initiative and work independently on certain projects, while contributing to a large team on others.
