Description
Support development and documentation of releases for engine peripheral components (cooling, air intake, tank ventilation and exhaust systems) Development of components for cooling-, air intake-, tank ventilation- and exhaust systems for ICE, MHEV, PHEV, REX drive trains from an early development phase (creating CAD concepts and develop to maturity) up to series development (managing suppliers/documentation and built to print parts until end of production). Required skills: - Technical understanding of components, drawings and their parts lists in the development of drivetrains, e.g. cooling parts (cooling modules with heat exchangers, fan, shrouds, thermostat, expansion tanks, hoses and pipes for coolant, oil and petrol) air intake (ducts, air box with filter element, resonators), tank ventilation valve and exhaust system (hot end, cold end). Additional Support Brackets - Design in CATIA V5, installation space analyses (e.g. engine compartment, underfloor, ...) -including additional tool IPS-Flex for analyzing operating envelope of parts - Parts release, documentation of design changes - understanding of automotive standards (ISO, DIN, VDA,...) - Self-motivated, good communication skills - Degree: studies in mechanical engineering with at least 3 years of experience in automotive industry or equivalent qualification as CAD technician with relevant experience
