Job Description

Responsible for over all machining activities involved in the new product development.
Responsible for completion of project sample on agreed dates.
Responsible for monitoring activity of new product development during first shipment until the product is handed over to production.
Responsible for RFQs-Feasibility study with respect to machining.
Responsible for departmental objectives.
Responsible for designing, developing and Modification of existing tools, jigs, and fixtures.
Responsible for inspection of tooling, machined components, and pressure testing during new product development.
Responsible for verification of sample inspection report with respect to NPD parts.
Responsible for providing technical assistance to other departments during development stage.
Responsible for identifying, initiating, monitoring and implementing the improvement projects in method, cost reduction and simplification in process and rejection controls.
Fully knowledge about the casting & machining process.
Fully knowledge about CNC machining technology, Tooling, Design, Equipment, cycle time estimates.

Note:-

Background should be Foundry & Machining process.

Preferably in the Valves & Pump industry.

Skills:

Excellent verbal & written communication.
Excellent presentation skill
Excellent managerial skill driven by leadership qualities.
Pleasing personality with team spirit and interpersonal relationship skill.
Negotiation skill
Manpower handling
