Overview

Development Engineer Engine components ResponsibilitiesDesign and Development of\u202fAutomotive Throttle body, Turbocharger, Castings, Plastic components to meet functional, reliability and durability goals for Gasoline & Diesel applicationWork with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Process partners to understand and document the requirementsKnowledge on development process about APQP, PLM and PPAP documentationInteraction with supplier for components development and validationKnowledge on product manufacturing processKnowledge on casting, forging, injection moulding processKnowledge on Metallic, Polymer and Plastic materialsInvolvement in new concepts integration and providing the technical solutionsImplementation of various VAVE ideasWork with CFT, manufacturing plant to ensure design for manufacturabilityProvide technical support to manufacturing, quality, purchasing during part developmentConduct design reviews with the stakeholders and technical drawings releasesDetailed failure analysis and taking the corrective actions through systematic approachCAD, Teamcenter knowledge will be added advantage QualificationsBachelors in Mechanical / Automobile DisciplineWork Location: Hosur Essential skillsKnowledge of Packaging & Integration of engine systemKnowledge of Automotive standardsShould have very good soft skills. Experience8 to 10 yrs experience
