Development Architect

Role Overview: At Broadridge, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, adapting, and implementing short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and applications infrastructure. You will review system requirements and business processes, code, test, debug, document, and implement software solutions. Additionally, you will provide application software development services typically in a defined project, develop program logic for new applications, and ensure successful implementation of system improvements. You may also test new software code and work in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment. Your work will involve applying a theoretical knowledge base to achieve goals through your own efforts, using your specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education. You may provide guidance to others as a project manager using your technical expertise, requiring specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. You will interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices, solve complex problems, take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions, work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations, and may lead functional teams or projects.
