As a member of the Portworx team, you will play a crucial role in delivering the highest quality Portworx suite of products. Your responsibilities will include contributing to clean code, prioritizing customer orientation, and upholding quality standards. You will be actively involved in the development of a new SaaS platform aimed at providing a secured, consistent, best-in-class experience for customers purchasing and utilizing various Portworx offerings. Within the Portworx team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing various features and products across the Portworx portfolio. **Key Responsibilities:** - Designing and developing SaaS microservices and integrating new features into Portworx products. - Emphasizing design, development, unit/functional testing, design and code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment. - Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to move solutions from initial design to production. - Taking full ownership of design and development activities by incorporating customer feedback and addressing issues identified in testing phases. - Experimenting with new technologies to drive innovation and advance solutions. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. - 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing product components using languages such as C++, Java, or Go. - Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and SaaS-based scalable platforms. - Experience in designing and implementing high-quality, testable, maintainable, and optimal microservices for production environments. - Proficiency in working with cloud infrastructure, deployments, and continuous integration. - Ability to design and manage microservices in a distributed system architecture. - Experience collaborating with various stakeholders and designing scalable, production-quality software. - Demonstrated design sensibility and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. - Willingness and ability to work in an open office environment. - Solid background in data structures, algorithms, and software design. **What Can Give You a Head Start:** - Knowledge and working experience in Kubernetes and Containers. - Experience with building and integrating Authentication and Authorization frameworks. - Experience in E-commerce marketplace integration projects. - Prior experience in Kubernetes Control Plane development. - Experience in automating SaaS billing and usage reporting. - Experience in building systems to obtain Telemetry reports from business services. - Experience in building public-facing SDKs. **What You Can Expect From Us:** - Pure Innovation: We value critical thinking, challenges, and trailblazers. - Pure Growth: We provide support for your personal and professional growth, contributing to meaningful projects. - Pure Team: We foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes collective success over individual ego.
