About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead CMDB Developer to join our dynamic ServiceNow project team. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of the clients Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of CMDB solutions while working closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and ITIL best practices

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.
• Implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.
• Perform regular audits and data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Integrate the CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
• Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow CMDB best practices and industry trends.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on CMDB functionalities and best practices.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in ServiceNow, ITIL, or other ITSM frameworks are highly desirable.
• Certified ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Administrator Certification is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform.
• Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
• Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data governance principles.

• Proficient in ServiceNow CMDB administration and development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) and database query languages (e.g., SQL).
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
