Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of basic dessert items including mousses, custards, puddings, tarts, and plated sweets.
  • Support baking activities such as sponge cakes, muffins, cookies, and choux pastries.
  • Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines as directed by the Pastry Chef or Commis I/II.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dessert station and equipment.
  • Organize ingredients and mise en place before each service.
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products, adhering to food safety standards (FIFO, labeling, temperature control).
  • Assist in plating and garnishing desserts for service.
  • Learn and practice safe knife handling and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Participate in cleaning schedules and kitchen deep-cleaning tasks.
  • Attend team briefings, training sessions, and participate in staff development programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
