Desktop Support Engineer trainee

As a Desktop Support Engineer Trainee at Spacewood Office Solutions Pvt. Ltd., located in Butibori, Nagpur, you will be responsible for providing technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals. Your role will involve installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues. Additionally, you will manage user accounts, email configurations, and system updates to ensure smooth operations. Your duties will include diagnosing and resolving OS, application, and connectivity issues, as well as assisting in setting up new workstations and upgrading existing systems. Regular system maintenance, backups, and security updates will be part of your routine tasks. You will also coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements and provide support for IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN setups. To excel in this role, you should have a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or ITIL will be considered an added advantage. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and networking concepts is essential, along with hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication and customer service skills are crucial for success in this position.
