Desktop Support Engineer

As an Installation and Configuration Specialist, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Installation of OS & other applications such as Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat etc. as per Customers software deployment policy - Adding or removing accessories, peripherals or mobile devices and configuring PCs - Troubleshooting & verifying hardware and software as per Client requirements - Configuring desktop and laptop as per the desktop/laptop standardization policies of CUSTOMER - Configuring and troubleshooting printers - Configuring Outlook and troubleshooting related issues (System and on PDAs) - Troubleshooting and resolving desktop/laptop OS issues - Assisting users in accessing applications based on standard SOPs - Coordinating with vendors for call logging, tracking, and closure for OEM calls pertaining to hardware, software, and networking support - Basic troubleshooting of network-related issues for laptops, Internet access & connectivity - Tracking and ensuring end-to-end closure of escalated issues with the back-end team & domain owners Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in installing and configuring operating systems and software applications - Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues - Familiarity with desktop/laptop standardization policies - Experience in configuring and troubleshooting printers - Knowledge of configuring Outlook and resolving related issues - Basic understanding of network-related issues for laptops and Internet connectivity In addition to the above responsibilities, if there are any additional details about the company provided in the job description, please provide that information.,
