Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • End-User Support:

    Provide support for all IT hardware, operating systems, applications, network, and printer-related issues, ensuring timely resolution within the defined SLA.
  • System Installation & Maintenance:

    Install, maintain, and upgrade operating systems, desktop/application software, and other services as provided by TPL. Handle system relocation, and manage the addition or removal of system accessories and peripherals.
  • Software Configuration:

    Install, reload, and reconfigure office productivity tools, including

    Office 365 components

    , browsers (Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome), intranet, and internet-related configurations as required.
  • System Security & Performance:

    Perform regular system checks and registry cleaning to protect PCs from viruses or worms. Diagnose and rectify malware-related issues using antivirus tools provided by TPL.
  • Printing Support:

    Configure and manage print servers and resolve all user-level printing issues effectively.
  • Network Connectivity:

    Perform

    network connector and I/O crimping/punching

    for LAN connectivity as part of daily technical support operations.
  • Inventory & Documentation:

    Maintain updated documentation for local zone IT inventory and network diagrams, including relevant technical details and asset changes.
  • Miscellaneous IT Activities:

    Perform additional IT-related activities as per TPLs operational requirements and instructions from the IT management team.
  • CCTV / Surveillance Support:

    Provide

    primary support

    for video surveillance systems and CCTV camera installations, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Shift Support:

    Work in rotational shifts as required and perform tasks defined under

    L1 support engineer scope

    , ensuring 24x7 monitoring as per schedules communicated by the Team Lead.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in

    desktop support or IT infrastructure operations

    .
  • Strong hands-on experience in

    Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

    .
  • Knowledge of

    Office 365, Active Directory, network basics (LAN/WAN, IP configuration)

    , and

    printer setup

    .
  • Familiarity with

    hardware maintenance, antivirus tools, and CCTV systems

    .
  • Experience with

    IT ticketing tools

    and adherence to SLA-based resolution processes.
  • Good documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CompTIA A+ / N+

  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

  • ITIL Foundation

Soft Skills:

  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple incidents efficiently.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
  • Attention to detail and proactive approach to issue resolution.
