Desktop Support (Chip Level) & CCTV Installation Engineer L2

Role Overview

This hybrid position serves dual responsibilities: providing advanced desktop/laptop technical support (including chip-level diagnostics and repairs) and handling the complete life-cycle of CCTV installations, diagnostics, and maintenance for enterprise and SMB clients.​

Key Responsibilities

L2 Desktop Support (Chip Level):

• Diagnose, repair, and replace chip-level hardware components on desktops/laptops (motherboards, RAM, CPU, BIOS, etc.).
• Troubleshoot advanced hardware and operating system problems; resolve escalated tickets from L1 teams.
• Support OS re-installation, system imaging, and BIOS/UEFI configuration.
• Perform preventive maintenance for desktops and laptops.
• Coordinate vendor warranty claims and hardware replacements.
• Asset management, performance optimization, and end-user training.
• Maintain records of repairs, upgrades, and component replacements.

CCTV Installation & Service:

• Plan, install, and configure CCTV cameras (IP/Analog), DVR/NVR systems, and related security equipment.
• Lay and terminate cables (CAT6/Fiber) and mount equipment as per site layouts.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in video, network, and power connectivity.
• Program DVR/NVRs, integrate with network infrastructure (routers, switches), and configure remote access.
• Conduct regular maintenance, address reported faults, and provide client training on usage.
• Document site visits, installation procedures, and maintenance checks.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or IT.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with advanced desktop/laptop hardware servicing and CCTV installation.
• Hands-on chip-level repair experience: Motherboards, ICs, RAM, BIOS, reballing, and related diagnostic tools.
• Proficient with major CCTV brands (Hikvision, Dahua), cabling standards, and safety protocols.
• Certifications in hardware repair or CCTV technology preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
