Job Description: Jewellery Designer

Position Overview
The Jewellery Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative jewellery pieces aligned with brand aesthetics and market trends. This role involves creating detailed sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings while collaborating closely with production teams, gemologists, and marketing to bring designs from concept to final product.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Concept Development
• Create original jewellery concepts, sketches, mood boards, and design themes.
• Develop collections based on seasonal trends, brand strategy, and customer preferences.
• Produce detailed technical drawings and 3D CAD models for manufacturing.
• Product Development
• Select appropriate materials, gemstones, metals, and finishes.
• Work with artisans, CAD designers, and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility.
• Review prototypes and adjust designs to meet quality and production requirements.
• Trend & Market Research
• Stay updated on jewellery trends, materials, consumer behavior, and global fashion movements.
• Conduct competitor analysis and contribute insights to product planning.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Partner with product, merchandising, and marketing teams to develop cohesive collections.
• Present design ideas and prototypes to internal teams and clients.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure designs meet brand standards, production guidelines, and quality control requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of industry regulations, gemstone grading, and metal standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, Adobe Illustrator, Blender, or similar CAD tools.
• Strong artistic ability with excellent sketching and visualization skills.
• Knowledge of gemstones, metalworking techniques, and jewellery manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and strong aesthetic sense.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
