Designation Finance Analyst / Asst. Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting & Reporting -

  Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as per Ind AS/IGAAP. Ensure timely and accurate closing of books of accounts. Oversee general ledger reconciliations and journal entries. Support consolidation processes and group reporting if applicable.

• Cost Accounting & Inventory -

  Supervise product costing, overhead absorption, and variance analysis. Analyse cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS). Monitor inventory valuation, cycle counts, and stock adjustments.

• Budgeting & Forecasting -

  Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts. Assist in analysing actuals vs. budget and investigating variances. Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making.

• Internal Controls & Compliance -

  Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Companies Act, etc.). Assist in preparing data for internal and statutory audits. Drive adherence to SOPs and recommend control improvements.

• Taxation & Regulatory -

  Liaise with consultants for direct/indirect tax filings and assessments. Support monthly and annual tax provisions and returns. Ensure TDS, GST, and other applicable taxes are computed and filed on time.

• ERP & Process Automation -

  Work with IT/ERP team to streamline financial processes in SAP. Automate routine reports and improve data accuracy across finance modules. Train team members in ERP finance modules and reporting tools.

Preferred candidate profile

• A CA qualification with 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setup
• A strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing finance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP
• Working knowledge of Indian taxation and statutory compliance.
