Design Thinking Facilitator

Job Summary:

We are looking for an innovative and creative Design Thinking Teacher to introduce students to critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation methodologies as part of the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will help develop a design mindset in students through hands-on, project-based learning that encourages empathy, collaboration, and real-world application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Design Thinking as an integrated subject or module across Grades 6–10/12 in line with CBSE and NEP 2020 guidelines.
• Facilitate learning experiences using the Design Thinking process: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test.
• Encourage interdisciplinary projects that combine creativity, technology, sustainability, and social impact.
• Use tools such as mind mapping, brainstorming, user research, prototyping (digital or physical), and storytelling.
• Guide students in solving real-world problems through school-based or community-centered projects.
• Integrate Design Thinking into STEAM education, coding, AI, and entrepreneurial modules.
• Organize design showcases, exhibitions, and innovation challenges.
• Evaluate student performance based on creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate design principles into other subjects.
• Stay updated with 21st-century teaching methodologies and CBSE curriculum developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, Education, or Fine Arts.
• B.Ed. is preferred for teaching positions in CBSE schools.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience or working in a design/innovation-based environment (schools, design firms, startups, etc.).
• Skills:
• Deep understanding of design thinking methodology and its educational application.
• Creative mindset with excellent visual thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with digital tools such as Canva, Figma, Tinkercad, or any prototyping platforms.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor students in project-based, experiential learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Design Thinking, Innovation, or 21st-century pedagogy.
• Experience in conducting workshops, maker spaces, or design labs.
• Passion for fostering entrepreneurial thinking and creative confidence in learners.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,510.39 - ₹35,326.56 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
