Design Manager

Role & responsibilities : Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Design Manager to join our commercial interior fit-out team. The Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring seamless coordination between designers, execution teams, and clients. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and exceptional project management skills. Key Responsibilities: • Project Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the design team, execution team, and clients to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. • Design Development: Lead design discussions, review architectural and interior design concepts, and provide creative and technical input. • Client Management: Understand client needs, manage expectations, and present design solutions effectively. • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of design plans. • Technical Oversight: Review design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Resource Management: Allocate resources, manage budgets, and track project timelines to ensure timely project delivery. • Quality Control: Monitor design quality and execution to maintain design integrity and project standards. • Problem Solving: Address design-related challenges promptly with effective solutions. Requirements: • Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in design management within the commercial interior fit-out industry. • Skills: Strong project management and coordination skills. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
