Job Title:

Job Summary

Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Creation of
3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, laser cutting & bending drawings, machining and rolling drawings
.
Work with the
proposals and sales team
for submission of GA drawings and complete document sets to customers/consultants for approval.
Support
new product development
in line with management targets and department objectives.
Perform
design calculations
such as torque, gearbox sizing, and other bought-out component sizing.
Prepare, review, and submit
design documents
as per customer QAP requirements.
Prepare and update
ISO documentation
for the design department, including design control, validation, and CMS.
Update
3D models of standardized equipment
based on new improvements and innovations as directed by management.
Create and update
BOMs
(Bill of Materials) as per specifications, project needs, and customer requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical or other relevant discipline).
0–3 years
of experience in design;
1 year in manufacturing industry preferred
(any department).
Mandatory:
Working knowledge of
2D CAD software
(AutoCAD, ActCAD, DraftSight, etc.).
Preferred:
Working knowledge of
3D design software
(SolidWorks, CATIA).
Exposure to engineering design and calculations will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
