Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed designs and drawings for Fire Fighting and ELV systems using AutoCAD or other design software.

Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and material take-offs based on project drawings and requirements.

Ensure design compliance with relevant standards (NFPA, BS, UAE Fire Code, etc.) and client specifications.

Collaborate with MEP teams, architects, and consultants to ensure coordination of services and conflict-free designs.

Perform hydraulic calculations for sprinkler systems and other fire protection systems.

Design ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, and BMS.

Attend technical meetings and support site teams with design clarifications or revisions.

Update and maintain design documentation and drawing logs.

Review and incorporate feedback from consultants, contractors, and authorities.

Support the procurement team with technical evaluations and supplier specifications.
