Design Engineer Opening For Ahmedabad Location

Responsibilities - Direct:

• Understanding of Project requirements: To collaborate with engineers and the project managers for understanding of the project requirements and specifications.
• Create & Design: Strong mechanical design and analytical skills to create and design 2D drawingsusing AutoCAD & 3D models using SolidWorks.
• Analytical Solutions: Analysing problems and creating designs to solve the problem and performing R&D for new projects to undertake.
• Modifications: To take feedbacks from the team members and clients so that any revision or modifications can be done if needed.
• Maintain Accuracy: To ensure accurate and efficient completion of design projects within given timelines (TAT).
• Documentation: Timely updating and managing the design files and documentations in an organized manner as and when required.
• BOM Preparation: Able to generate standard BOM (Bill of Materials) assembly-wise by collaborating with respective types of machines.
• Reverse Engineering: Capable of performing reverse engineering of machines and machine components to support design improvements or part replacement.
• MIS Reporting: Preparing Daily/Monthly/Quarterly review reports as per the managements requirements for the work allocated or updating for WIP.
• Training: To mentor the team, take feedbacks and provide guidance to them for contributing to continuous improvement of the team members.
• Any other duties: As per the management’s decision and updated in JD from time to time.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

4 to 7 years of experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing setup

(preferably machinery or heavy equipment industry)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Industrial Design or related fields.
• Masters in Mechanical Engineering / CAD/CAM/ Machine Design or Product Design.

Specific Skills and Certifications (Specify Mandatory and Desirable):

• Proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD software and its various tools and features.
• Understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles and practices.
• Knowledge of materials and their properties, and their impact on design and manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot design issues.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi & Gujarati.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Problem solving skills.
