Design Engineer (Mechanical)

As a Design Engineer, your role will involve assisting in designing components and assemblies using Siemens NX (Unigraphics) software. You will be responsible for preparing 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models and supporting modifications, corrections, and updates to existing designs based on production or client requirements. Collaboration with production, quality, and tool room teams will be essential to ensure design feasibility. Additionally, you will maintain and organize project files and design data, assist in creating Bill of Materials (BOM), and apply GD&T standards in drawings. Supporting product development from concept to manufacturing will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design components and assemblies using Siemens NX - Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models - Support modification, correction, and updates to existing designs - Collaborate with production, quality, and tool room teams - Maintain project files and design data - Assist in BOM creation and documentation - Learn and apply GD&T standards in drawings - Support product development from concept to manufacturing Qualifications Required: - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering - 6 months to 2 years of experience or internship in design (NX preferred) - Good command of Siemens NX software - Basic understanding of manufacturing processes - Knowledge of GD&T and design standards - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Good communication and teamwork skills In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, the company provides benefits such as food, health insurance, leave encashment, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
