🔍 What You Will Do
The role involves handling end-to-end design and development projects — from concept to SOP — with responsibilities including:
✔ Managing complete design lifecycle (CAD models, 2D/3D drawings, BOMs, documentation)
✔ Creating & developing sheet metal designs — cabins, tanks, ducts, hoppers, bus parts, etc.
✔ Working with Production, Quality & Planning teams to ensure design intent is maintained
✔ Coordinating with customers for inputs, approvals, and design clarifications
✔ Revising drawings as per ECNs and ensuring version control
✔ Feasibility, manufacturability, and cost studies
✔ Supporting proto builds, validation, and handover to production
✔ Maintaining technical documentation as per ISO standards (DFMEA, DAP, etc.)
🛠️ Required Skills
🔹 Strong expertise in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
🔹 Experience in sheet metal design
🔹 Knowledge of BOM creation & engineering documentation
🔹 Understanding of manufacturing processes & feasibility
🔹 Ability to coordinate cross-functionally and manage project timelines
